FAS American White Oak

Similar in colour to European Oak. Sapwood is lighter than Heartwood which is light to dark brown.
Mainly straight grained with a medium to coarse texture.

Prime Grade European Oak

Sapwood is lighter than the Heartwood which is yellowish brown to deep brown.
Usually straight grained with a mild texture.

FAS American White Ash

Sapwood is light coloured to nearly white. Heartwood varies from greyish brown to
light brown to pale yellow streaked brown. Generally straight grained with a coarse uniform texture.

FAS Sapele

Sapwood and Heartwood is medium to dark reddish brown.
Typically the grain is interlocked with a moderately fine texture.

FAS K.D. Iroko

Sapwood is white to yellow. Heartwood is light yellow to golden brown when first cut, darkening
with exposure to air. Irregular and interlocking grain with a coarse but even texture.

FAS K.D. Idigbo

Sapwood and Heartwood are pale yellow to yellowish brown. Generally straight to irregular or interlocked grain with a medium to fairly coarse and uneven texture.

FAS K.D. Yellow Poplar (Tulipwood)

Sapwood is creamy white and may be streaked. The Heartwood varies from pale yellowish brown to olive green. The wood is straight grained and has a medium to fine texture.

Beech - European Steamed

Sapwood is pale pink. Heartwood varies from pink to reddish brown with an attractive flecked figure. Generally straight grained with a fine and even texture.
